Farm & Me Makhana is sourced from the GI-tagged Mithila region of Bihar, one of India’s oldest and most recognised foxnut-growing ecosystems.

Traditionally cultivated in pond-based wetlands, makhana has long been part of everyday food culture across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar — from fasting meals and homemade snacks to curries and desserts — much before it became a modern wellness trend.

Today, a large part of the market is dominated by smaller-sized, lower-grade makhana that often lacks crunch and freshness. At Farm & Me, we focus on carefully selected larger-sized premium makhana for a better eating experience and more consistent quality.
